But questions may often raise about where students tuition money and fees actually go, as well as what this distribution looks like through the University’s lense. March is National Reading Awareness month, so relatively speaking, we took a deeper look into the payroll facts, distributions, and salaries worth note of the SUNY school system. So if you are interested in finding out how college professors and academic staff are paid in New York State, read on!

Interesting Facts 

Student Assistant/ College Work Study Salaries

Since July 2, 2015, the maximum student assistant rate/college work study rate have been increased to $18.64 an hour. This is a salary increase of 2% as negotiated by the United Universities Professionals.
